Jumia Black Friday 2017 – Jumia Nigeria, a leading e-commerce company has assured Nigerians that it will deepen online shopping with up to 80% discount on the Black Friday 2017 festival.

The Chief Executive Officer of Jumia Nigeria, Mrs Juliet Anammah disclosed this in a press briefing on Monday in Lagos that the Black Friday 2017 will be the biggest sales in the country.

She said that the sales would commence from November 13 to run till December 13 for a time frame of 31 days. She also stated the the Black Friday would feature one million sales, a lottery giveaway of a brand new car and airline tickets to Europe among others.

Mrs Anammah also disclosed that Jumia will make sure all customers have access to the best deals during the Black Friday festival. The e-commerce giant has taken a step in deepening their resolve to make the black Friday the biggest by partnering with top brands which includes  Intel, Pampers, Infinix, Phillips, Fero, HP, MTN, Coscharis and Air France-KLM to ensure an exciting and not to be forgotten Black Friday

She said and I quote:

This year’s Jumia Black Friday is designed to bring customers exceptional value.

We are always looking to push the envelope for online shopping and this year, we are bringing an even bigger dimension with exclusive app-only flash sales.

A weekly Black Friday lottery draw and the first-of-its-kind TRACE and Jumia Music And Deal (MAD) fest.

Some of these year’s surprise elements include a brand new ford figo from Coscharis Nigeria Ltd to be awarded the lucky grand prize winner of the 2017 Jumia Black Friday lottery.

Shoppers simply have to shop during the course of the 31-day events to be eligible to win any of the prizes.

Which include five Air France-KLM return tickets to Europe, 20 discounted Air France-KLM tickets at 35 per cent off and much more.

Anammah also said that customers will enjoy up to 10% discount on their purchases when payments are made using an FCMB bank account through Jumia pay.

She also enthused that customers will win free online shopping vouchers through Jumia’s wheel of fortune to provide customers with more shopping opportunities on the e-commerce platform.

According to her, those with Jumia app on their phone will have access to quick day deals, flash sales and instant notifications on their phones to enable them get the best deals ever before they are sold out.

To cap it all up, Jumia teamed up with top music entertainment giant, TRACE Naija, to host a Music and Deal (MAD) Fest on Saturday, 18th November

The exclusive 2-in-1 concert and shopping event will feature Nigeria’s finest artistes including Simi, Falz, Wande Coal, 9ice, Mayorkun, Niniola, Sound Sultan, Skales, Lil Kesh, Pencil, Jimmie DJ consequence, DJ Cuppy and Nedu.
