FOCUS: PRODUCT SHOOT OF AEESHA COLLECTIONS

product shoot of aeesha collections

I had the privilege of taking the product shoot of Aeesha Collections in Lagos last week. Yes, her name is Aeesha and she is an amazing entrepreneur I met at the Dream Wedding in Lagos where I had the blog post up here!

A super beautiful lady that struck a chord when I met her, discussed the possibility of having to take a couple of shots of her products – Nigerian made shoes.

Just in case you don’t really know a lot about Aeesha, take a peek at her Instagram handle and then you will know that this young woman took entrepreneurship to the gallery and she definitely knows her stuff,

One of Nigeria’s finest Shoemaker, talented Aeesha spends her days with hammer, fabric and all her passion into cobbling  hand made shoes and slippers.

You were expecting to see hammer and leather bah?
I will not show that here!!..LOL

This was my first shoe product photography and as usual I took a stroll to Youtube to get ideas and see what can be achieved from the shoot!

First day:

We went to her showroom at Adeniran Ogunsanya Shopping Mall Surulere where I decided to suck in the environment since that was the only location we had for the products.

There are no special tricks to these shots really, as I had no major equipment with me. I played with my Canon Lens 50mm **nifty-fifty** and decided to take advantage of the lighting and ambiance of the Mall.

See how it panned out:

Second day:

We went to Aeesha’s factory at Mushin Lagos, a challenging but exciting location for a woman! To be honest, I was really impressed and amazed at the level of masculinity and creativity of Aeesha in a male dominated area and profession.

I was further excited by the respect she got from her male counterparts owing to her astute skills, determination and dexterity at getting things done.

Aeesha is truly an amazing entrepreneur and indeed a motivation to all guys and especially ladies out there.
