Last Sunday’s 3 creatives 1 night event at the Samantha’s Bistro was an event filled with fun and indeed met its aim which was to MeetEat.Drink.
Red carpet commenced at 6:20 with invitees and speakers taking turns in taking pictures.
The event started at 7:00pm with Zaron Make up Practical, one of the invited guests was used as the model for the practical by Joan a Zaron Representative.
Jide Adedeji, stylist and brand owner of JREASON BRAND spoke on how he prepared for his career in styling. `I was not trained to be a stylist` he said, he decided to start a career in 2013 when everyone liked his fashion style.
He advised young stylists to be themselves, believe in their brand, seeing consistency as key. He also advised upcoming stylists to always look presentable and professional, think big and know what is in vogue. He finally informed aspiring stylists to believe in their dreams, and think big, leverage on their creativity.
Didi Daley, owner of the Didi Isah Brand who had all her degrees abroad, graduated as a pharmacist but today deals majorly in accessories and leather.
Didi in her speech enthused that she believed in buying Nigerian to save the Naira, she further stated that it is important that we partronize ourselves because this is needed for Nigeria and for Africa.
Toju Foyeh was absent at the event, however she sent a representative who spoke about the Toju Foyeh brand, and advised aspiring entrepreneurs to be creative in their art and trade and also be passionate, insisiting that Nigerians need a lot of entrepreneur to boost the economy of the country.
