The African writers meet 2017 took place on Saturday, October 28 2017 and it was one of the best events I’ve been to all year. With a blend of fun, music, oratory and content education, any budding writer in Lagos would not have missed this event for anything in the world.

Hosted by OAP WFM 91.7 Laura Osubor and comedian Funbi Comedius, it was a great day filled with lots of fun and entertainment.

He also mentioned various ways of making money from passion and creative abilities. He motivated and inspired writers with his pure oratory and motivational skills.

Non- fiction writer and blogger on TLSplace, Tunde Leye was also on hand to talk about how writers can leverage their creativity to build a brand for themselves. He stressed the need to start little and build gradually. He also mentioned the various ways of publishing. It was a session that really motivated writers.
