Alice Dako of CAG Bloggers’ forum continued on her journey of training bloggers to be better for their content and craft, as she visited Ibadan bloggers on the 29th October 2016. The earlier edition held on September 24 at Capital Square in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The CAG Bloggers Forum 3 held at Mauve Lounge, Ring Road Ibadan on Saturday 29th October 2016 and bloggers like the Shakara Girl, Tosin Toge, Life of Dammy, Tiffe, Queen Lawunmi, Collins Badewa of the Street Haute, Seun of Ordinary & Art and Ella of Naturalgirlonabudget were in attendance.
The event also had the Creative Director for top photography outfit, Exclusiveicare TV, Segunfunmi Adedeji as special guest and he spared no blushes in motivating bloggers to be more creative in content development.
Segunfunmi, in his speech called for quality and consistency in the niche chosen by the bloggers. He further intimated that bloggers should try as much as possible to ingrain professional as they follow their passion. He advised that while bloggers want to be financially independent and become powerful entrepreneurs, they should eschew professionals in their value system, as that is what would differentiate them as creative content creators.
In her speech, Alice advised for the need for bloggers to be bold and daring as they try o market their niche. She said further ‘Gone are the days when you just sit down behind your laptops and keypads, you need to be out there, reach out to brands and also collaborate. It is very key!
‘The market is very competitive and as such, you need to be out to be known’
Sponsors were also available to dole out giveaways for bloggers in attendance and as expected, Deedee was there to capture all that happened at the event.
One most impressive and notable thing about the bloggers present were the various adornment of African prints like the Ankara and other mix of fashion and style. I would say that Nigerian bloggers are now on the top of their games, in terms of style and creativity. You rock Guys!!
