Hi Guys, it’s been a while, yea? Your favourite relationship counsellor and photoblogger have just been busy. Having grown Deedeesblog to a reasonable height and starting a new business in Beard Gang, it’s been a whole lot of work and direction for me.
Oops! I have not told you about the Beard Brand, right? Okay, so I realized that Nigerian men need a go-to place where they can source for information on facial hair care and we do not really have one website helping with that in Nigeria, hence, problem identified and problem solved. You can check the website out here, and let me know what you think.
Thankfully, we now have amazing contributors and freelancers on the blog so I would have enough time to focus on other arms of the MEDIA BRAND – What do you say?
This weekend I would be sharing the amazing love story of Ayo and Elfeda. This Amazing couple met in the most unusual manner, they fell in love and they decided to share their love story. Amazing yea? Keep it a date with us on Sunday – 30th September as this content would be published on the blog.
Now that Independence is here, how are you celebrating? It is Public Holiday in Nigeria, isn’t it? Anyway, for me though, I will be taking a couple of friends to my old and favourite beach in Lagos – Ibeshe Beach. Do you remember I had a documentary at the Beach a year ago? You can read all the stories on my Ibeshe Documentary and interview here on the blog.
For a while though, having to combine photography duties, documentaries, managing writers and doing personal runs has not been easy. Would have preferred to employ a content manager, but where is the money? If you know any way I can manage all of these responsibilities. Please, feel free to share with me in the comments, it is overwhelming, sincerely!
Thanks for reading my memoirs today. I’ll leave you with this beautiful picture of Oge that I took at Ibeshe Beach( My favourite beach) last year **wink** **wink**… I hope you like it.
Cheers to the weekend and the Independence Day Nigeria. Happy Independence lovelies!
PS: Memoirs of a Lagos boy is back and you will be seeing a lot of personal contents on here.
Yours in Love
DeeDee.

September 29, 2018 at 10:03 pmWho is that girl? Please, I need to really tell her something.
On a side note, I visited the beard gang site, and it was filled with so much information as regards beards, nice one.
I think you should hire a content manager. It would cost you just 20k a month to get an average content guy. You can then train him on the job to become more perfect. It worked for me for 3 months, and it yielded results.
Nice documentary all the same. Cheers.

September 29, 2018 at 10:06 pmPlease bring the note. I will pass it across Sir. LMAO!
I have tried getting content managers in time past, but they are not as passionate as I would have expected them to be. I wouldn’t mind your personal recommendations though.
Thanks a lot.

September 29, 2018 at 10:08 pmThree quick thoughts
1. I’m waiting for Memoirs of a Lagos Boy…damn!
2. That beach documentary still my favourite so far. Amazing filming and everything else (endorsed as a filmmaker and storyteller).
3. Matchmake o….start matchmaking for us single brothers. Especially the beard gang

September 29, 2018 at 10:12 pmKudos bro! Even though the sight of ‘Oge’ almost made me forget what I have been reading.
Being more strategic will really help in times like this. We are waiting for the story of Ayo and Efelda, i am interested in this inter-tribal love.
