Peter Hayden Dinklage: Accept Who You Are!

This is Peter Hayden Dinklage, popularly known as “Tyrion Lannister” of HBO’s ‘Game Of Thrones’. Of course, it is evident that Peter is a dwarf, a human being who is a perfect ingredient for jokes, one you would naturally consider insignificant, walk past in the streets without a second glimpse at.

But did you know that Peter, this object of laughter and shame was the one who recommended Lena Headey to play the role of Cersei that has now made her a worldwide phenomenon?

Did you also know that Peter Dinklage was the only member of the cast who never auditioned for his role? He was the Writer and Producers first choice for the role of Tyrion. When a Game of Thrones episode starts and the theme song and animation begins, his name is the FIRST you see. Ironically, he is actually the main character in Game Of Thrones.

HBO pays him $1 million per episode. He is happily married with kids.

I couldn’t find a better person other than Peter to premise the talk of SELF IMAGE and ACCEPTANCE on.

I need you to understand that nothing on you, on your physical body, is supposed to look otherwise. Every damn thing you can see on you right now, from your height to your skin tone, teeth formation, lips thickness, eye color and others are how and exactly how God intended it to be and look. If you needed to be taller, God would have made you so.

Haven’t you seen short firstborns with tall siblings? If it was all about genes and biology, then all of them should have been short or tall but before you even made it into your father’s nutsack and your mother’s womb, God already designed you. You don’t look like what you are today because an egg was fertilized, you had already been pre-destined to look like that.

Jeremiah 1:5 – “Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] APPROVED of you…”

Not only did He finish your design and kept you in your mum, but God also gave you another look, and nodded His head in APPROVAL. Why do you think something is wrong about you again?

What if I also told you that the way you look physically is DIRECTLY connected with your God-given purpose? Yes, your body’s stature and physic have EVERYTHING to do with your divine mission on earth. Have you come to notice that some people with small petite statures have very powerful and heavy words in their mouth?

Nothing about you is an overdo or inadequate, you are perfect. You are the only creature of God who looks like Him. Not even the angels who see Him face to face look like Him, just you.

Your lips aren’t too thick, your skin isn’t too dark, it’s not too light either, your breasts aren’t too large or small, your height is just perfect!

Why then are you embarrassed because some people are hateful of themselves but take it out on you?

Why are you getting bigger tits and butts or bleaching off because of a boy that will leave you immediately he seeks the kinda girl he is trying to turn you into?

Why are you into drugs, herbs, and pills just to sexually impress a lady you aren’t the only one screwing? At the end of the day, Amnon only had one orgasm in his life and that orgasm marked his end.

You have God’s approval, these human beings you seek to please die like grass in the next hour. Have you seen the scars the people shaming you are hiding under their clothes? Have you seen the things they are hiding in their cupboards? You are the architectural design of the Almighty God and He is obsessed with you.

Please understand that wanting to be someone else is a complete waste of who you are.

“Once you embrace your value, talents and strengths, it neutralizes when others think less of you.”

“One of the greatest regrets in life is being what others would want you to be, rather than being yourself.”

– Shannon L. Alder

“Don’t waste your energy trying to change opinions … Do your thing, and don’t care if they like it.”

– Tina Fey

“When you accept who and what you are, no one can use it against you
